Pam Lozoff is a somatic psychotherapist and coach with over a decade of experience supporting individuals and communities in healing and transformation. Her clinical background is grounded in social work, trauma-informed yoga, mindfulness, and the core energetics lineage of somatics. She brings a warmth, curiosity, and a belief in each person’s ability to tap into their inner, embodied wisdom into each session and therapeutic relationship. Pam graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science in Social Work and University of California Davis with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish.
Born and raised in the achievement-oriented culture of Silicon Valley to a family of fast-paced New York Jews, Pam learned to live from the head up and that self-worth was earned through achievement, all the while masking her deeply sensitive, feeling nature and seriously burning out at several points. Yearning for a more grounded and whole-hearted way of being, she turned to the traditions of Buddhism and Somatics, and now connects to her clients from this place. Pam loves working with fellow caregivers, neurodivergent folks, creatives, mothers, and teens. She is especially skilled in addressing issues of anxiety, depression, grief/loss, trauma (attachment/childhood/sexual), disconnection from self or the body, neurodivergence (ADHD/Autism), high sensitivity, sensory overload, self/creative expression, caregiving/parenting, and identity development for adolescents. Pam brings her love for dance, art, and nature into the healing process.
